Agenda: Ensuring transparent elections, reducing political corruption, and strengthening the justice system to uphold democratic integrity in India

Public faith in India's democratic institutions has declined in recent years due to concerns about the openness of elections, increasing levels of political corruption, and the time taken for justice to be served.
Fair governance is a struggle due to issues such as criminal cases against elected politicians, misuse of election funds, and a lack of accountability. Immediate action is required to improve the electoral process, strengthen oversight of political donations, and strengthen the judicial system.
In order to ensure that India's democracy remains intact for the future, delegates need to consider ways to ensure that elections are free and fair, reduce the influence of money and crime in politics, and build a justice system that is accessible, impartial, and quick.
